Ruth & Ben’s wedding
It was a great pleasure to photograph Ruth & Ben’s winter wedding at St Columb Minor church, with the reception following at the Atlantic hotel. Although it was December, we managed to get to the beach for some couple shots – some fabulous wild seas in the background – Cornwall at its best! A fabulous day and a great couple – best wishes for your future together. x
Dogs xmas photo shoot
Spent a lovely hour on Porth beach with the adorable Cinzina and Thumbelina, 2 gorgeous Pomeranian sisters. I had planned out the photoshoot before I got there with various ideas, however these soon went out the window when I saw how energetic they were and it was a case of trying to keep up with them! This shoot was bought as a xmas gift for the dogs owner so I hope she is pleased with them.
Helen & Simon
Pale pink and lemon were the colours chosen for Helen & Simon’s wedding at the Atlantic Hotel. Coming down to Cornwall from Reading to get married, they were joined by family and friends in their celebration, along with their two beautiful daughters. It was a fabulous occasion full of emotion with lots of laughter, and the weather kept clear for us to go to the beach for some romantic shots. Perfect.

I was asked by Silks bistro to photograph their head chef, Aaron preparing some of his amazing food which he entered into a competition at Boscastle Fish festival. I don’t know how he got on in the competition but the food looks fantastic to me!
Jenny & John
Jenny & John were married at the Atlantic hotel on August bank holiday weekend. A great couple, the day was full of fun as they both have a fantastic sense of humour, and together with their gorgeous daughter Erin (who possibly was the star of the show!) made for a lovely enjoyable day. As there were a lot of children at the wedding, Jenny & John organised a “playbus” which was parked outside the hotel for a couple of hours to allow the adults time to enjoy their meal – a great idea! ( google Cornwall Playbus ) After the meal, we popped down to Little Fistral before the sunset to take some lovely romantic shots, then back to the hotel where the guests were treated to entertainment from a live band (Keikorise) into the early hours, and gaming tables. A great wedding!
Ann-marie & Daniel
Ann-marie and Daniel were married at the Atlantic hotel, Newquay. It was a lovely wedding and the weather stayed dry for us so we could go outside for the group photos. The bride kept with tradition and kept her groom waiting for 30 minutes, although he didn’t seem too concerned that she wouldn’t turn up! We managed to grab some shots at Trenance park and then onto Little Fistral Beach during the evening which made a great addition to their album. A great day.

Demelza & Matthew
Demelza & Matthew were married at the beautiful Crowan church near Praze an Beeble, the church standing just a few metres from the house where Demelza grew up. As family and friends filled the church, we photographed Matthew and his brothers whilst waiting for the bride to arrive in the vintage Bentley.
The bridesmaids wore ruby red dresses with complimentary bouquets, and Demelza arrived wearing a stunning ivory gown, complete with veil and tiara, and a bouquet of red gerbera and ivory roses.
After the ceremony we made our way to the Alverton Manor where the guests enjoyed a drinks reception on the terrace. We took this opportunity to make the best use of the many different areas within the grounds of the hotel, and took some lovely romantic couple shots before getting on with our group photographs.
Soon it was time for the guests to sit down for their wedding breakfast in the immaculately presented great hall – a fabulous room, perfect for the occasion. The day was rounded off with live music from a local band and a disco.
